Dan is a Native Floridian who resides in Palm Beach County Florida.  He resides with his Wife Lisa who is also a Professional Engineer.  He has a 24 year old Son who is a Boat Captain, and he and Lisa recently adopted Gina, a 5 yr Old Girl from Siberia.
Dan Graduated from University of Florida in 1974 with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering and received his Florida ’s Professional Engineering License in 1978.  Since then his wide and varied accomplishments include:

 

·         He was the Founder and President of a Multi-million dollar International Engineering Firm.  The firm (Engenuity Group Inc) is active and successfully serves a List of Class A Private And Public Clients.

·         He was a developer of a 20 Megawatt Culm Burning Power plant in Western Pennsylvania.  The plant burns Coal Tailings (Culm) , which is waste from Anthracite Coal Mines left from the 1800’s and early 1900’s.  The Material is burned in a Fluidized Bed Boiler and produced electricity sold to Pennsylvania Power and Light.

·         He is the developer of the first Green Industrial Park in the State of Florida.  The Yeehaw Transportation & Distribution Center is located at Yeehaw Junction Florida.  It consist of 430 acres approved for Industrial/Warehouse, Interstate commercial and Workforce Housing and is Strategically located to serve Central and South Florida .

·         He is the Buyer's Agent for Charter Schools USA (CSUSA), and their Development Subsidiary, Red Apple Development. CSUSA is the largest operator of Charter Schools in the State of Florida, with over 18,000 students and 2,000 employees. He is responsible for identifying and evaluating properties to be developed into Charter Schools. 

·         In 1975, while employed by the South Florida Water Management District, he was in charge of writing the first comprehensive Water Management Rules East of the Mississippi.  These rules covered both quantity and Quality of Stormwater and are still in existence today.

·         He was the Engineer in charge of over $50 Million in Infrastructure ( Roads, Water and Sewer) Improvements in Palm Beach County, Florida.

·         He has served and continues to serve on the Boards of Charitable and Civic Organizations.  His primary interest is helping Special Needs Children.
