Current Status:

Working as a Real Estate Advisor and Development Consultant for a select group of clients.  Serves as Real Estate Advisor to the Charter School USA (CSUSA) family of Schools and is on Retainer by their development arm, Red Apple Development. CSUSA is the largest Charter School operator in the State of Florida with over 18,000 students.  Responsible for identifying and evaluation properties for conversion to Charter Schools. Realtor with Sperry Van Ness, Florida.  Sperry Van Ness is a Nationwide Commercial Real Estate Broker.

Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association. Serves on the construction panel which handles construction, environmental and real estate cases.

Developing the States first Green Industrial Park.  The Yeehaw Transportation and Distribution Center is a Transportation oriented Industrial Park located in Osceola County at the Florida Peninsula’s population centroid.


Work History:

  • President and founder of SFRN, Inc, (Currently called Engenuity Group, Inc) from 1978 to 2007. Engenuity Group is an International Consulting Firm offering Engineering, Surveying and Mapping Services.  During his time as President of SFRN, he held the following positions:
    1. District Engineer, Northern Palm Beach County Improvement District.
    2. City Engineer, Town of Lake Clark Shores, Fl
    3. District Engineer, Indian Trail Improvement District
    4. City Engineer, Town of Ocean Ridge, Fl
    5. District Engineer, Pal Mar Water Control District
    6. Consulting Engineer, Loxahatchee River Environmental Control District
    7. Consulting Engineer, Lake Worth Drainage District
    8. Surface Water Action Team, Town of Wellington, Fl 
  • South Florida Water Management District from 1974 until 1978.  Head of the Surface Water Management section for the District’s 18 County area.

Experience:

Over 30 years in the field of engineering and construction. Comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices of Civil Engineering, Construction and related fields.

Expertise in the writing, interpreting and enforcing codes regulations ordinances and land use plans. Extensive experience  obtaining Federal State and Local permits and, obtaining land use and zoning changes.  Direction of construction pollution prevention methodology..

Over 25 years experience as an expert witness.  Has been certified as an expert and testified in both Federal and Florida State Court along with the Florida Department of Administrative Hearings.

Considered a pioneer in Sustainable and Ecofriendly design. Developed the first comprehensive regional water management regulations in the Eastern United States.  Developed model municipal ordinance to reduce nutrients in stormwater runoff.

Experience in the full spectrum of business management and development; planning, budgeting, financial plans, trend analysis and forecasting.  Served on the following Boards:
